Southampton Cruise Port

Southampton has 4 cruise terminals, the QE2 terminal and the Ocean Cruise Terminal at the Eastern docks, and the City Cruise Terminal and the Mayflower Cruise Terminal at the western docks.

Eastern Docks
Queen Elizabeth II Terminal
The QE2 terminal was opened in 1966 by Queen Elizabeth II. The dock is home to Cunard's cruiseliners, Queen Victoria, Queen Mary 2, and Queen Elizabeth. Facilities include a short stay car park, a bar, a taxi rank and a cafe. Note that visitors cannot access the viewing gallery.

Ocean Cruise Terminal
The first Ocean Cruise Terminal was an iconic Art-Deco construction. Unfortunately it was demolished in 1983 The replacement building, opened in 2009, is a total change from the earlier building, being a huge modern design with curved lines. Facilites available include a short stay car park, a cab rank, a bar and cafe.

Western Docks
City Cruise Terminal Berth
The City Cruise Terminal has completed a 7 year rennovation to double its size. It can now handle the largest 'Freedom Class' ships of RCI. Facilities are a short stay car park, a taxi rank, a bar and cafe. Nearby Mayflower Park is an excellent venue for watching cruise ship departures.

Mayflower Cruise Terminal
The Mayflower Cruise Terminal, opened in 1960, is the home to the P&O fleet of cruise ships. Facilities include a taxi rank, a bar and cafe, and viewing gallery.
